  your must rent a car! we recommend trifty/ dollar rental since they only put a hold on our card for $* and since our c/c has insurance no need to get theres. other rentals wanted to put hold of $*. taxis avg. $* we took advantage of the specials at the resort restaurant. we also ate at coconut joes and over the edge to get some local flavor. there is also a $* per person charge to use the shutltle and room tax of $* a day. suprise. but the rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. also exchange rate there is 80% ex. $* is equal to $* CI . even though they dont have tax the rate is a killer at times. your need to go to fosters and get food. we saved on breakfast and lunch that way. i took small soft cooler to take for snacks on the dives. great snorkleing and great diving. my first advice though is not to book dive packages if you are willing to look at various dive areas. we recommend sundives dive shop near 'hell' weights and tanks at $* take most of your equipment if you can. you have to use tanks from the dive shops where you dive though so they averaged $* and the $* for a second tank dive. reccomend the reef by sundivers the most beautifull wall!!!! we did dive eden rock, nice staff there and divers down we used to dive with the stingrays $* and night dive $* on wreck of the cali. they are located at the resort. i would say to use the first day there exploring the island and relax and enjoy. we would use resort again.

  Only negative thing is the business center does not have printers, computers. Staff person on duty was not computer savvy and did not know how to print boarding passes (since there aren't any printers in the business center) or even get on the web to find same. Smoke alarm goes off and scares the living daylights out of you especially when you are asleep ( was told the alarms are very sensitive).
